Josey’s dad found a Malinois dog in Oakland Hills and they decided to check up on her. At first, the dog was shy and afraid. She would search for a safe spot.
It seemed like she had never played with toys before. She was tired and slept for two days straight. They tried to find her owner, but she wasn’t microchipped. She was reported missing.
After a few days, she started to feel safe with Josey’s dad. One day, as grandpa went to the toilet, she escaped from the gate and looked for her dad for approximately 10 minutes. She returned home and that’s when they realized they got outside.
Josey thought of adopting her and when she got to her grandma’s house, Mali started to warm up with people. Mali has become a great dog and is learning to communicate with people.
