It is aiming to double its smartphone sales in 2023, if it can get more than 8,000,000 Pixel 7 phones from its suppliers.
This move shows that the search giant is invested in its latest answer for the best Android phones. Google’s lofty goals do not end at high-end models. The report states that Google will request 4 million units to make a budget Pixel phone. It is expected to launch in early next year. Although it is not clear which model is being referred to, it is most likely the Pixel 7a. The Google Pixel 6aIt was revealed last May and it is safe to assume that the successor will be unveiled around the same time next year.
Google’s new Pixel phones borrow design cues form the Pixel 6series and make some tweaks. It includes an upgraded Tensor chipet that has improved machine learning capabilities for imaging. Chris Wedel says that the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro feel incrementally better than their predecessors.
