GM suspends Twitter advertising to evaluate its direction with Elon Musk

After a Twitter campaign, General Motors temporarily stopped paying advertising on Twitter. Elon Musk has closed the $44 Billion dealTo take over the website according to the CNBC. As you all know, Musk is also the chief executive of Tesla. GM was completely overthrownIts competitors and to be the most valuable carmakerIt was established in the US several years ago. According to the company, it is now engaging with Twitter in order to better understand its direction under its new owner. It also stated that paid advertising can be paused when there is a significant change on a media platform.

GM stated this in its emailed message:

“We are interacting with Twitter to understand how the platform will be managed under their new ownership. As it is the normal way of doing business when there are significant changes in a platform’s ownership, we temporarily halted paid advertising. “Our customer care interactions via Twitter will continue.”

The company has increased its commitment to offering consumers more EV options over the years to be more competitive with Tesla.
