It’s fair to say Arsenal midfielder Fabio Vieira had a training session to forget on Wednesday afternoon.

Vieira was present as Mikel Arteta’s side Get ready for their Europa League match against Bodo/Glimt Thursday.

He took part in a rondo with Martin Odegaard and some of his fellow teammates. Gabriel MartinelliCedric Soares.

Eddie Nketiah was also in the middle as the Portugal under-21 international looked to stop another Arsenal player from receiving the ball.

Vieira is seen in an online clip taking a blow to the face after Cedric, a Portuguese teammate, threw the ball up.

Gabriel Martinelli was the most hysterical witness to the drama, but he caught everyone’s attention.

Vieira’s situation did not improve. He limped out from training after appearing to be in pain following being caught on his right foot by one or more of his teammates.

The Portuguese star was expected in the starting lineup for the visit of the Norwegian champions.

Manager Mikel Arteta will therefore be hoping the knock is nothing serious.

Vieira arrived at Arsenal this summer after suffering a foot injury.

As he looks to impress, the Gunners will hope his latest punch is not serious.
