The striker During the 3-2 win over Liverpool, a head injury occurredAfter being caught at the Emirates Stadium by the elbow Kostas Tsimikas, he was able to capture him.
JesusUnderwent extensive treatment, but continued to play before Eddie Nketiah replaced him late in the match.
Manager speaks out about the injury that occurred after the win. Mikel Arteta said: “I don’t know, I haven’t been with the doctor yet, I’m sure they are checking him, he seemed okay after the game.
“I don’t know actually what happened but we’ll assess how well he is.”
This made him a doubt for this week’s Europa League clash with Bodo/Glimt, however, despite missing training, Jesus is thought to be fit and available for the trip to Norway.
This will be a big boost as Arteta’s side look to make it three wins from three in their Europa League group.
But it may be tricky given the hosts’ artificial pitch.
Arteta is expected to make several changes to Liverpool’s team, with a Premier League match against Leeds following.
This means that Jesus, despite his physical condition, could sit at the bench with Nketiah in front.
Arsenal have also doubts about the fitness of Oleksandr Zainenko, as the versatile star is unlikely to play against Bodo/Glimt.
However, he could be available to play against Leeds on Sunday.
