Frank Lampard believes Everton are unlucky not taking anything from their game against Tottenham

Frank Lampard believes in his EvertonThey were unfortunate not to take anything home from their defeat against Tottenham Hotspur.

Everton lost 2-0 to Antonio Conte’s side but were still in the game before half-time, with the scoreline goalless after the first 45 minutes.

Harry Kane converted a penalty while Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg scored a late goal to secure Spurs’ victory. However, Everton had numerous chances to lead the game thanks to Demarai Grey and AmadouOnana. 

Lampard believes Everton played well in the match and thinks it would’ve been a different story had one of the two big chances his team created been converted. 

He said to Sky Sports: “In the first half, really disciplined, didn’t give Spurs the spaces they wanted.
