Trump met with 11 House Republicans to discuss strategies for overturning the election results of January 6th. Five of them asked for pardons later.
Florida Democratic Rep. Stephanie Murphy, who is a member the January 6 committee, stated that several Republicans met at White House on December 21st 2020 to discredit his false claims, and encourage the public to resist the outcome of January 6.
President Donald Trump was joined by Vice President Mike Pence, White House Chiefs of Staff Mark Meadows and Rudy Giuliani.
According to White House visitor logs: Rep. Brian Babin (Texas), Rep. Andy Biggs (Arizona), Rep. Matt Gaetz (Florida), Rep. Louie Gohmert from Texas, Rep. Paul Gosar, of Florida and Rep. Andy Harris of Georgia, Rep. Jody Harris of Georgia, Rep. Jim Jordan, Ohio, Rep. Scott Perry, Pennsylvania, and Rep.-elect Marjorie Taylor Greene, Georgia attended the meeting.
