A debate between Florida’s two senatorial candidates – incumbent GOP Sen. Marco Rubio and Democratic Rep. Val Demings – became heated as the pair took aim at one another on a number of issues, including rising prices, abortion, gun control and immigration.
Notably absent from the Tuesday evening debate held at Palm Beach State College’s Lake Worth campus was the issue of crime, which Republicans have prioritized in the election amid Rising crime ratesMany major American cities.
The candidates were asked about rising fuel costs and how they will help families now after the government spent trillions of money on pandemic relief.
Rubio claimed that government spending caused an increase in inflation. He said that Democrats were warned by Larry Summers and other Democrat economists that if they do this, it will cause inflation. He also stated that only one solution to the problem would be to produce American oil.
FLORIDA SENATE – RUBIO and DEMINGS ARGUED ABOUT ABORTION LIMITATIONS AND EXCEPTIONS IN HEATED DEBATE

Rubio stated, “We have to produce American oil again.” “Why do we need to beg Saudi Arabia for oil?” Why aren’t we asking Iran and Venzuela for oil? We produce a million barrels of oil per day less than we did just a few years back. Instead, our oil reserves are being depleted. We are losing our oil reserves. midterms. They are there to assist this country in times of emergency or during storms. Some of these insane policies, which Congresswoman Demings supports, are impossible to implement.
Demings responded to Rubio’s criticism, saying: “Ofcourse, the senator who never ran anything would know nothing about helping people, and being there for them when they are in danger.” The pandemic was not planned by anyone, but the way we respond to it is everything. Businesses were in trouble, as well as individuals. The CARES Act was passed.
She added that “Your number one job is to ensure the safety, health and well-being of the American people.” “You’ve been at it for 24 years…”
Rubio also accused Rubio of accusing Rubio, who is currently Florida’s 10th Congressional District representative and was previously chief of Orlando Police Department 2007-2011, of having “never adopted a bill” in her tenure as Congresswoman.
“The congresswoman enjoys talking about helping people. She has never passed any bill. She hasn’t passed one bill. She has been in Congress for more than a half a decade and has never passed any bill. Not [Paycheck Protection Program]Nothing. She has never made a single law through her actions.”
Demings denied Rubio’s claim and said, “That’s not true.”

It’s not okay for you as a senator to make decisions about women and girls. These decisions should be made between the woman and her family, her doctor, her faith, and her physician.

Demings claimed that Rubio has not done enough to address the issue of gun violence and that he has failed to pass bills that would stop people from obtaining weapons that could cause harm.
“You have not done anything. Demings said that there was nothing to be done to combat gun violence and get dangerous weapons out the hands people. “Our primary responsibility, Floridians’ safety and that of senators. We have been in office 24 years and you have not yet done that. Then when you are asked why you don’t understand it, you will say something that is completely absurd.”
Rubio replied, “What doesn’t make sense is that law-abiding people are going to follow them and criminals continue to violate them.”
“The truth is that Americans have won the war on terror. Second Amendment rightsHe said that people should be able to defend themselves. He said that if they want to kill, these killers have multiple ways to obtain weapons and cause destruction. … I have a bipartisan red flag law, sponsored with Sen. Demings replied to the question by referring back to her career in police as chief and officer of police, saying “We are a nation made up laws.” They’ve been enforced for 27 years.”

Rubio responded by claiming that Joe Biden and Democrats are the only ones who have insulted people at the border. They accuse them of whipping Haitian migrants, which was true.
