Fitbit Sense 2 and Google Pixel Watch: Comparison of Google’s flagship smartwatches

2022 was an amazing year in the world of smartwatches. We expect it to get even better in the coming months. Google has two new smartwatches, or three, as we get close to the end. The original is still the best-selling model, but the newer version has been available since October. Fitbit SenseThe latter is Google’s official entry into the smartwatch market starting in 2020.

Google now owns Fitbit so integrating all the best of the old standalone wearable company makes sense. Fitbit Sense 2 vs Google Pixel Watch : Design

There is a clear difference between the Fitbit Sense 2 and the Google Pixel Watch from the beginning. The first features a square design with a 1.58-inch AMOLED screen covered in Corning Gorilla Glass. With its 1.2 inch AMOLED display, the Pixel Watch is noticeably smaller.

These wearables can be accessed using different interfaces. The Fitbit Sense 2 sports a single button on its left side that works in conjunction with the touchscreen. Google’s Pixel Watch comes with a rotating crown at the right. This rotates to reveal your list of installed applications and doubles up as a button. It shouldn’t surprise that the Sense 2 weighs less, despite having a heavier overall wearable. Google went with a trendy look for the Pixel Watch, which has a Stainless Steel finish that looks great regardless of whether you choose the matte black or shiny silver colors. What might not surprise is the fact that both these smartwatches depend on proprietary connections to the bands. It can be difficult to find the right one if you need it.
