Finale of The Rings of Power

Season 1 of the Finale The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Many of our most pressing questions regarding Middle-earth’s happenings were answered. It has left us with a thirst for knowledge that will not be satisfied until Season 2. Yes, we now know. Sauron’s true identity Who the Stranger isBut what is the future for the humans, elves, and Harfoots that we have come to love and know?

You never know! At this point, The Rings of Power J.R.R. Tolkien’s workIt’s anybody’s guess. There are some things You can find it here to happen — more rings, including the One Ring, must be forged — but when, why, and how they’ll happen are mysteries we’ll just have to wait to unravel.

Yet, we can’t help but to get into question mode as we wait for the long winter break. Grab your Tolkien novels, your notes and your favorite conspiracy theory yarn walls, because we are going on an adventure! (If not of body, then at most of the curious brain.)

How will the other Rings of Power be created?

Three rings down, many more to come.

We know this from the title of the program. The Rings of Power The forging of 20 rings will eventually be possible: seven for elves and seven for dwarves; nine for mortal men; and one evil ring that Sauron created in secret. Celebrimbor creates the three elven rings.

Tolkien’s work reveals that the elves rings are the last 19 rings to have been forged. This is why their early arrival in The Rings of Power It shakes up everything we know from the books. However, I believe that the next ring will go to the dwarves. This is all due to the Friendship between Elrond & Durin. Elrond discovered that Halbrand couldn’t be King among the Southlanders. So it is possible that he realized Halbrand was Sauron, and that he escaped. He could warn the dwarves about the coming evil and encourage them make their own rings by knowing that Sauron is out there. It is not clear if the elves and dwarves will be able trust one another again. However, I want to see my favorite duo back together.

What’s the next step for Southlanders?

They should be okay!

Bronwyn and Theo didn’t make it to the finale. But that doesn’t mean they aren’t interesting to me! Where will these three Southlanders, along with their fellow displaced Southlanders, go now that the Southlands has been reduced to the ashy hellscape known as Mordor?

We have episode 7, “The Eye”, to give you an idea of what they will be doing next. A garrison of Númenoreans is staying behind in Middle-earth to accompany the Southlanders to safety. Their destination? The old Númenorean colony of Pelargir, at the mouth of the Anduin river. Pelargir, which is part of the land eventually becoming Gondor appears to be Pelargir. The Rings of Power is going to examine how the Southlanders contribute to populating that area. In the books, Gondor does not become Gondor until after After Númenor experiences great catastrophe. We will have to wait for the great kingdom to emerge from its grave. Southlanders also have pressing issues to address, such as the threat of Mordor. Adar and his orcs might have their home right now, but who can say they won’t look to expand it?

Who will control Mordor, Adar, and Sauron?

We are eagerly awaiting the Adar/Sauron showdown.

Season 1 The Rings of Power Ends with Sauron heading confidently into Mordor. But don’t be surprised if he doesn’t rise to power. Let’s face it, One cannot just walk into Mordor.Particularly This is not true when Mordor has been ruled by an orc that tried to kill you. Sauron still has the power to kill you. orc daddy AdarTo contend with.

Galadriel was recalled to Adar by Adar episode 6, “Udûn,”After his quest for power had led to the deaths countless orcs, he killed Sauron. Sauron, however, is still alive, as everyone knows. Adar will find out that Sauron is not dead. He won’t give up his home for his orc kids without fighting.

What does Galadriel think of Halbrand’s treachery?

Allies and enemies can be allies

Galadriel has spent all of The Rings of Power She tried to destroy Sauron but realized in the finale that she had done worse. She brought him back into Middle-earth as Halbrand. As she fears she’s too close to the dark, her betrayal by him is a devastating blow. Her trust in Halbrand might be endangered depending on Elrond’s reactions and how they react.

Tolkien’s works show that Sauron tricks many people. But he is a good man. Never Galadriel is tricked. Galadriel is deceived by Annatar, the Lord Of Gifts. Maybe Halbrand’s breach of trust will make her more prepared for future Sauron encounters. After all, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger — though it WillYou can fight alongside you, earn your trust, and then run when you realize that it is evil incarnate. Galadriel, we’ve all been there. You can get through this, I have faith in you.

Please tell me where Celeborn is, as I would love to talk with him.

Galadriel deserves a win!

One of the greatest bombshells of all time The Rings of Power — aside from the nuclear warhead that is the Sauron-Halbrand reveal — is that Celeborn, Galadriel’s husband, is now deceased. He’s still alive, she believes. Although he went to war against Morgoth, he never returned. We never saw his body so we don’t know if he is actually dead.

Celeborn is not dead in Tolkien’s stories, and I’m a passionate “Celeborn alive” truther. He and Galadriel live a happy and fulfilling life, and their children and grandchildren are vital to the future Middle-earth. Celeborn’s death would not be a deviation from Tolkien lore. It would be like destroying canon. Celeborn is likely to be in prison, or perhaps he’s seriously injured and fighting to return to Galadriel. It’s impossible to believe that he won’t be a larger part of this show at some point.

Is Isildur still alive?

Oh, yes, he’s returning.

Celeborn’s son Elendil is joining Celeborn in the club “he could have died but probably isn’t”. We last saw him in Mordor trapped in a fire. His Númenorean companions all believe him to be dead, and who could blame them? A burning house falling on them, or being in isolation in orc territory are not things that many people can endure. Isildur, however, can and will do it.

Isildur must survive as he has a huge role in the future Middle-earth. This includes the founding of Gondor, the battle against Sauron and more. We’ll get him back, unless Elendil has another secret child named Isildur. There’s a good chance that Elendil has released Berek, his horse out into Middle-earth. Isildur and his horse will be reunited. Maybe he will join Bronwyn, Theo and Arondir at Pelargir. Or maybe he will try to sail home all by himself. One thing is almost certain: Isildur will live!

Just what, exactly, is going down in Númenor?

This is not a good sign.

The island of Númenor is one of the most important parts of Tolkien’s mythos, but we’ve never seen it portrayed onscreen until now. The Rings of Power strayed quite a bit from Tolkien’s legendarium with the plotline that brought Galadriel and Sauron to Númenor. However, as Elendil and Queen-Regent Míriel return home, the stage is set for Númenor’s canonical corruption.

Galadriel’s involvement in the losses Númenor suffered in Mordor will surely stir up even more anger towards the elves and the Valar. This is already evident with Elendil who is grieving Isildur but was much colder than Galadriel when they parted. Plus, with the king’s recent death, Númenor will have to fill a power vacuum. Will Míriel, who vowed to return to Middle-earth and aid the elves, take her father’s throne? Or will the scheming Pharazôn take her place?

And you can’t forget Eärien’s discovery of the seeing stone, or palantír, in the king’s chambers. Perhaps she saw Míriel’s vision of the wave, or even worse, opened up a pathway for Númenor to unknowingly communicate with Sauron. Eärien, Pharazôn, and Pharazôn’s son Kemen did not have much screen time this season, but based on what the finale is setting up, it’s likely they’re about to become far more influential.

Will Durin IV and Disa try to dig for more mithril with their newfound knowledge? (And will the Balrog also appear?)

The ultimate power couple of Middle-earth.

We were denied any dwarf scenes in the tragically. Rings of Power Finale, but it was quite memorable to see them again this season. Episode 7: King Durin III found Durin IV, his son, trying to sabotage Durin III. More mithril can be mined for the Elfen. In one of the most heartbreaking scenes on the show, he disowned his son. Durin IV was jealous, but Disa returned him to Durin IV. In a speech that gave off some big Lady Macbeth energy, she told him that one day the two of them would rule Khazad-dûm and all other mountains, and that they would dig all the mithril they want.

The question is: Will they guerilla mine next season? Or will they do it all? Macbeth route and make an attempt to take the throne…with murder? The latter would be intense, but fascinating, and position mithril in the same manner as Sauron (yet to be made One Ring).

But perhaps the biggest cliffhanger in the dwarves’ storyline is the teeny tiny matter of the Balrog living in the depths of Khazad-dûm. We know this from the main Lord of the Rings trilogy, the dwarves awaken this Balrog — known later as Durin’s Bane — by delving too greedily and too deep in their search for mithril. Naturally, all hell breaks out. Durin VI is actually the Durin mentioned in “Durin’s Bane”, so Durin III may have been spared by this Balrog. But, this is based on The Rings of PowerBecause of Tolkien’s timeline’s looseness and the Balrog foreshadowing episode 7, everything is possible.

What will the Stranger and Nori find in Rhûn?

He’s off on an adventure!

The Stranger (whose true identity was heavily hinted but never confirmed)Season 1: Nori Brandyfoot, Nori Brandyfoot. The Rings of Power by setting off east towards the land of Rhûn. They hope to uncover the Stranger’s past and why he crash-landed on Middle-earth.

The entire storyline of Nori and the Stranger is new. This means that their future story could take many different paths. The uncertainty about their future is intensified by the fact that not much is known about Rhûn. It is the home of the Easterlings who continue to support Sauron. Tolkien did not go into too much detail beyond that. The creative team behind The Rings of Power Might as well be granted free rein. The Stranger, and Nori Could You may also meet other members of the Stranger’s Istari Order. Maybe we’ll learn more about white-cloaked Mystics, who hunted the Stranger throughout this season. We are heading into new territory.

Will we see more Harfoots, including the Poppy?

Please allow them to reunite at some point.

It seemed that the main purpose for the Harfoot storyline had been to introduce the Stranger, and have him embark upon an adventure with the Harfoot as his companion. But, I became infatuated with Poppy Proudfellow and the Harfoots. She quickly rose to fame, from her loyalty to Nori to singing “This Wandering Day”, she was a star. But now that the Stranger and Nori are off to Rhûn, will we be hearing more from Poppy and company?

Since Harfoots and related Hobbit-y creatures don’t figure majorly into Middle-earth history until Bilbo and Frodo in the Third Age, it’s unlikely (but not impossible) that we’ll see Poppy cross paths with, say, Galadriel or the Númenoreans. The finale did seem to have Poppy as the Harfoots next trail finder. So maybe next time we see Poppy, she will be leading the Harfoots through Middle-earth. Nobody wanders alone and no one goes off-trail. (Hopefully, nobody is dismissed from the show.
