Jungkook, the K-pop superstar, is ready to perform at this global football event.
Jungkook, the youngest member of South Korean boy band BTS will perform at the opening ceremony. The event is set to begin on November 20.
Jungkook’s participation in the opening ceremony of the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar was confirmed by the band’s agency Big Hit Entertainment.
On November 12, 2022, Big Hit Entertainment took to its official Twitter account and wrote, “Proud to announce that Jung Kook is part of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Soundtrack & will perform at the World Cup opening ceremony. Keep checking back!”

The official soundtrack for the 2022 FIFA World Qatar will feature the South Korean singer, 25 years old.
Jeon Jung Kook recently visited Qatar in the Middle East, where he was spotted filming a hidden project. The internet was shocked by the photos and videos of the star during his trip to Qatar. The reason for his trip to the Middle East wasn’t revealed.
The septet, which included Jin, Suga and J-Hope, revealed earlier this year their plans to pursue solo careers at their annual FESTA dinner, which celebrated the band’s nine year anniversary.
