FIFA 23 will be available to help teams in Europe as they look to make progress after the release of Road to the Knockouts cards for Ultimate Team.
RTTK player products tie into the largest European football leagues and are closely followed Ones to Watch as EA’s second promo of the season.
Road to Knockouts cards, which are dynamic FUT items, are for players whose team is competing in the Champions League Europa League or Conference League.
First introduced in FIFA 22, this year’s edition work in a similar way in that they are can earn a maximum of two upgrades to their stats.
- Upgrades are possible: The player’s team wins at least two of their remaining three group stage games.
- Qualifications upgrading: The player’s team seals passage into the knockout rounds of their chosen competition
The first wins upgrade will be available on October 21st. This means that any player who has two wins in a team will see their stats boost.
After the conclusion of the group stages, qualification upgrades will be available starting November 4th.
Phil Foden, for example, will have to wait despite Manchester City qualifying early!
Champions League cards that have their teams secure Europa League qualification will not receive the qualification upgrade for example…
For the upgrade to be counted, the players of RTTK do not have to participate in games for club.
