Ferrari’s Vision hybrid race car arrives in ‘Gran Turismo 7’ on December 23rd

Since 2013, Gran Turismo’s Vision project has seen some of the world’s largest automakers, including Imagine what your car could look like if it was not subject to real-world constraints. Polyphony Digital, the GT series developer, revealed that the latest addition of the Vision stable, a Ferrari entry, would be arriving in the UK this weekend. December 23, 2003

Like its predecessors the Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo has features that would make any production car blush. Ferrari outfitted the concept car with “a more extreme version” of the V6 engine found on the hypercar the automaker plans to field at next year’s Le Mans endurance race. The single-seat hybrid will generate more than 1,000 horsepower in-game. Three electric motors provide additional power.

“We wanted to create a vision of the future designed without constraint, but born from Ferrari’s unrivalled understanding of engineering, aerodynamics and future technologies, and deliver it into the digital world for a whole new audience to experience,” said Ferrari Design Director Flavio Manzoni. Ferrari enthusiasts should keep an eye out for an in-game quiz. You will be granted early access to Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo by completing it before anyone else.
