Last month The Flash Star Ezra Miller They announced that they would seek treatment to deal with “complex mental health issues,” following several allegations against their problematic behaviour. However, a new report reveals the reason behind their downward spiral, which first began over two years ago, is due to them believing they were “the Messiah.”

According to Vanity Fair, from 2020, Miller’s mental health began to deteriorate during the Covid-19 pandemic, especially when their movies began to stop filming. Thus, as there was “no plan,” they chose to travel to Iceland, where they first reportedly choked a woman in Reykjavik.

During this period, the actor’s parents were already going through a divorce, and there, they were accompanied by Jasper Young Bear, a 55-year-old South Dakota medicine man and “spiritual advisor.” Vanity Fair wrote that Bear began to tell Miller that they were messianic and that they were being chased by “demons.”
“[Miller would] talk about the metaverse and the medicine and how they’re the Messiah and what [their] work is here,” a source said. (Rolling Stone has altered the quote to reflect Miller’s preferred they/them pronouns.) “They say their spiritual practice is to be among the people—which means party. If you are in Iceland, [they were]You can find us everywhere. [Their]Raves were my favorite, [they’d] go on benders for two or three days at a time.”
Their problems grew when they returned to the USA. In Vermont, where they have a farm, the actor grabbed the attention of the city’s child services. Then in Hawaii, they were apprehended on varied charges—from Disorderly behavior To Second-degree assault.
In August, Vermont State Police went to Miller’s farm with an order from the Department for Children and Families. A woman named Ana had moved in with her children—but the farm was said to be full of guns. Before they arrived, the family had already left.

Miller’s farmhouse, also known as the “Mountain,” the star reportedly had an altar comprised of bullets, marijuana, sage, and figurines of the Flash, the DC character that Miller has portrayed in Justice League. A source closer to Miller has also mentioned that they combined themselves as their movie alter ego, “claiming that the Flash is the one who brings the multiverses together just like Jesus.”
According to Rolling Stone, sources reported that Miller’s farmhouse has frequent, heavy use of marijuana in front of the children, with little concern about proper ventilation. The outlet also stated that Miller’s farm also has a sizable cannabis plantation, with Whitney Suters, the actor’s close friend and alleged “handyman” claiming on social media that the two were running a cannabis company called Rebel Alliance Cannabis.
The actor’s inner circle was concerned with Miller’s preoccupation with drugs (“medicine,” they referred to it) and firearms at the Mountain. An acquaintance also told of Miller’s habit of burning sage in an AR-15 barrel. Miller took a second road trip to North Carolina in January 2022. They uploaded the footage. infamous videoThreatening to murder a KKK chapter. Soon after, their mother Martha, and their friends, purportedly locked up Miller’s weapons.
Warner Bros. did not comment on the matter. In August, Miller admitted that they were in the midst of “an intense crisis” and has since started therapy. However, those close to Miller remain skeptical, citing Miller’s creativity as a source of truth.

“There was a big bow and arrow cocked on the table, facing the door. Ezra was lying facedown on the floor,” a friend of Miller’s told Vanity Fair. “There’s always people in the house. Ezra, a drunk man, was the only one there. He had locked the guns in his house and taken the guns. And Ezra was freaking out about it.”
Previously in April, due to Miller’s string of arrests, Warner Bros. prompted aAn emergency meeting with DC, the comic, to discuss the actor’s future with the studio. Finally, the actor made an apology to Warner Bros executives personally and promised to go to a treatment centre. The Flash Could be put on hold.
A few days later, the Vermont Police officers visited the actor’s farm amidst concerns for the safety of a Young motherMiller was just a few hours away from Miller’s treatment.
“Having recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment,” says the statement. “I want to apologize to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behaviour. I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe and productive stage in my life.”
