‘Eternals’: ‘GoT’s Kit Harington reveals the reason behind his role as Black Knight

Fans were very excited when Kit Harington joined Marvel Cinematic universe.

Kit Harington made MCU debut in Eternals.

After HBO’s hit show Game of ThronesMarvel Studios quickly cast Kit Harington in Dane Whitman’s role in 2019 film, which was also known to be Black Knight in 2021 film Eternals.

Recently, the actor at 35 years old opened up about his casting choices and future plans as Black Knight in Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Talking to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor said, “No, I kind of knew that that might be a possibility. I wasn’t that interested in rocking up in a Marvel movie just to play someone’s boyfriend.”

The actor played Sersi’s boyfriend, who worked at London Natural History Museum. He was absent for much of the movie but was still present.

“I knew of some future possibilities, so that’s always been part of the conversation. But like with anything, you don’t really know,” the actor continued.

“You sort of do your research on what character it could be, and you go, ‘Oh, that looks quite fun.’ But it’s up to them whether they want to bring that person into their plans,” Kit Harington went on and added. “I don’t know at this stage. I have no idea what their plans are,” he concluded.

The film Eternals premiered in November 2021, and was directed by Chloé Zhao. Star-studded cast included Gemma Chan and Angelina Jolie, Salmahayek, Brian Tyree Henry and Harry Styles. Kit was also reunited to his mother. Game of ThronesRichard Madden is the film’s co-star.

This English actor is most well-known for his role as Jon Snow on the HBO epic fantasy television series. The series aired almost a decade and a half. Game of ThronesIt also featured Emilia Clarke and Sophie Turner, Maisie Wilkins, Jason Momoa, as well as many other stars.
