Erling Haaland has the best Premier League goal scoring rate, surpassing Alan Shearer, Sergio Aguero (Man City legend) and Thierry Henry (Arsenal icon).

Erling Haaland continues making history by launching a season that has taken Premier League to storms. 

The Manchester City star currently has the best goalscoring rate of any player to score more than one goal in the competition’s history. 

This campaign has seen him score 14 goals in eight games, an average goal per 48 minutes. 

This puts it in perspective: Premier League’s all time top scorer Alan Shearer scored an average goal every 147 min.

Haaland’s current form has blitzed all others in the highest rankings of minutes per goal and he now sits above Sergio Aguero and Thierry Henry.

Henry was able to score in the net every 122 seconds, while Aguero managed a goal every 108 mins.

Of course, it’s unknown whether he will keep this up but if he does he will leave legends behind as he makes history.

This type of goal scoring means that he scored 42 percent of his 33 shots in the Premier League, which is the highest conversion rate of any player who has attempted at least 20 times since 2004.

His efficiency has helped him surpass Jorginho (31.8% conversion rate from 63 shots) and Conor Coady (30% conversion rate at 20 shots).
