Elon Musk stated Saturday that former President Donald Trump’s account on Twitter will be restored. The billionaire Twitter owner asked his followers to answer the question.
“The people have spoken. Trump will be re-elected. Vox Populi Vox Dei,” Musk tweeted, using a Latin phrase which translates to “The voice of the people IS the voice of God.”
Musk asked his followers for their opinions with the simple prompt “Reinstate Trump” on Saturday. The poll was closed on Saturday night. As of Saturday evening, 51.8% had voted “Yes,” while 48.2% had voted “No.”
