Around 83,000 tweets were posted within hours. They included a wide range of thoughtful suggestions, gripes and memes as well as borderline lunacy about various Twitter-related topics. However, there were also a few irrelevant topics that made it through.

The following are some of the common issues that were raised in the responses Verification via TwitterIt is becoming more complicated by the day. There are suspended accounts and requests for different features.

Several replies asked for a dislike button, others for a redesign of Twitter’s website, while at least one person called for the return of Fleets, Twitter’s short-lived effortAt competing with Snapchat Stories and Instagram Stories which was abandoned in 2021. Some of the oddest tweets are one that asks how to open mayo jars with stuck lids (holding them under a stream of hot water for several seconds works it out) and another that asks how you can save your receding hairline.

Musk, who has recently been Twitter was bought by $44 billion, has responded to only one of the replies — no mean feat considering considering how his time is now taken up by not one, not even two, but Five large enterprises (ie. Twitter, SpaceX Tesla, The Boring Company and Neuralink

Instead of responding to each reply individually, a later tweet from Musk kind of answered every response in one fell swoop: “Please note that Twitter will do lots of dumb things in coming months,” he said. “We will keep what works & change what doesn’t.”
