Tesla AI Day 2022
Tesla’s AI humanoidbot was presented for the first-time at Tesla’s AI Event in 2021. But, in its initial appearance, the “bot” wasn’t as impressive. It was revealed that it was a human costume. Musk claimed that the robot would do “boring repetitive and dangerous” work at the time.
Musk’s prototype was constructed with “semi off-the-shelf” materials. However, he presented to the crowd with what he claimed was a fully Tesla-designed version.
Musk stated that the second bot was being carried by an engineering team because it wasn’t yet ready to walk. However, it will be walking in a few weeks.
