Eddie Hearn spoke to Otto Wallin about possible clashes with Anthony Joshua.

Tyson Fury might have been able for Anthony Joshua to fight him, but Joshua could face Tyson Fury instead.

After losing with Oleksandr UsykAfter being called out, Joshua looked like he might get the chance to jump into another world title fight. Fury.

Fury and Joshua seemed on a collision course, but the fight has now fallen through

Joshua and Fury seemed to be in a collision course. But the fight has ended.

The fight did not come to fruition, as is often the case with boxing.

This leaves Joshua without an opponent for the end of the year, despite Hearn and himself saying he wanted to fight in December, so they will need to move fast if ‘AJ’ is to have another outing in 2022.

One possible option is Otto WallinHearn was told by his promoter Dmitry Salita that he had spoken to him about a fight against AJ.

“They’ve been in touch, Dmitry [Salita] and Eddie Hearn have talked about it,” Wallin shared his thoughts with iD Boxing.

“I don’t know what the latest is now, but I know they’ve spoken before about it and I think Dmitry was told that they were going to wait for the Fury and Joshua negotiations.

“I haven’t got any update lately, but I would love that fight, that would be really good for me I think and I know Joshua pretty well, he knows me and that would be a good fight.”

Salita had previously suggested that this was the case. Joshua could bounce back with WallinThis is because Fury put up a tough fight when they first met in 2019.

“It’s high-risk, but you gotta take your gamble. Otto makes the most sense,” Salita told talkSPORT.

“He gave Tyson Fury, objectively, the most difficult fight of his career, and landed more punches against him than Wladimir Klitschko and Deontay Wilder.

“The American and British fans know and respect him. He’s not a trash talker but he really wants the fight and really believes in his chances. It’s a very difficult but rewarding fight for both sides.

“It would be quite an impressive statement if [Joshua]He will be back against a high-quality opponent soon. It’d certainly show that he means business and that he wants to be the best heavyweight in the world again.”
