The final season of Netflix’s original series. Stranger Things is planned to be a thematic “culmination” of the previous four seasons, as said by show’s creators Matt and Ross Duffer.
The Duffer Brothers, along with Caleb McLaughlin (Priah Ferguson), Jamie Campbell Bower (Jamie Campbell Bower), Eduardo Franco, Joseph Quinn, Joseph Quinn, and a fictitious Millie Bobby Brown took part in a panel discussion on Sunday at the FYC. Variety.

The first glimpses of what Netflix’s creative team will be presenting to viewers during the event were provided by the Netflix hit.
Ross responded that Season 5 was “a culmination all seasons” and “a little bit from the past”.
He explained that Season 4 was the “psychological nightmare,” and Season 3 was the “big blockbuster summer season with big monsters”, but now they want to “go back the beginning.” He said that Season 5 will likely have a tone similar to Season 1, but that the final series of episodes would be more scale-wise.
Season 4, which was reportedly the most expensive season ever, cost $30 million per episode. It eventually became Netflix’s first English-language series that exceeded 1 billion hours of viewing.
Matt and Ross previously mentioned that the last season won’t be as long as Season 4’s 13-hour runtime, as there will be less set-up before the kids “get drawn into the supernatural mystery.” The team on the FYC panel noted that some Netflix executives were in tears during the two-hour pitch for the final season, thus the team does not expect the emotional stakes to be affected by the probable shorter season.
