“Drink Masters” will be the new favorite binge watching show for foodies

Do you want to see a new cooking series that will make your tastebuds sing and soothe your mind with tasty shots of food porno? You’ve seen it all. You’ve got it! Iron Chef,The Greatest British Baking Show Many other things Delectable Netlfix offers. Maybe it’s time for a drink?

Master MixologistsThe streaming giant’s latest competition show, “Cooking Contest”, features a host of creative mixologists. It brings all the excitement and wonder we crave in reality TV.

This show seems to be about contestants creating crazy concoctions in order to please a panel of experts in spirits and liquor. There’s more to the show than just the competition. Master Mixologists The show gives viewers around the world an insight into the incredible showmanship in some North America’s best cocktail lounges. These cool creations will blow your mind, even if you aren’t a frequent visitor to chic speakeasies. And if you — like me — are a bit of a home mixologist, this show will provide plenty of inspiration alongside its swooning shots of playful pours.

What’s Master Mixologists about?

Twelve mixologists vie for the title Drink Master. The winner will receive a $100,000 prize. Their arena is a beautiful bar with a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of fancy backdrops that exude the cool, exclusive atmosphere of a nightclub. They will have to not only create delicious drinks but also stage them in grand settings.

The challenges they face include creating delicious desserts and combining them with tasty tastes. In episode 1, they are given 90 minutes to make margaritas. That means that you can choose to go simple or classic and get 86ed in this competition. As such, the mixologists pull out all the stops, along with smokers, and unconventional ingredients — like the Durian is a polarizing fruit — to make cocktails that are works of sippable art.

The Drink Master Judges are Julie Reiner and Frankie Solarik who are well-known bar owners and tastemakers. They’ll be joined by some celebrities to serve as guest judges in episodes that examine cocktail making’s past, highlights and future. These experts give context to terminology and emerging movements — like the rise in mocktails — so that even those of us who are Margaritas in cans are a favorite drink Follow along to learn how to shake up your own life.

However, the MVP of Season One is certain to be Master MixologistsTone Bell is the host.

Tone Bell is as perfect as it gets Drink Master‘s mirthful DJ.

Comedy and cooking shows can be as compatible as peanut butter and jelly. What would it look like? You can get it!Nicole Byers’ infectious laughter and jokey repartees with judges and bakers would be a lost cause. However, for every Byers there are two to three comedians that seem to have a hard time pairing silliness with sweetness. (Looking at me) Is It CakeMikey Day Crime Scene KitchenJoel McHale of’s, and Great British Baking Show‘s Matt Lucas.) If a comedian brings snark to the table alongside the earnest efforts by contestants, it can leave us feeling cheated. Bell, however, is delighted to be there and is a joy himself.

He opens the show by laying out the premise for the new competition series. However, he also mentions that he gets to taste these incredible creations and offer his opinion. In this short moment, Master Mixologists It is clear that Bell will not be present to crack wise or caper. He’ll bring verve His opinion to the judges’ panel. Because they fail, he suffers an unsavory drink. This shows that he is in the same boat as the contestants. It also makes him an audience surrogate. He gets to try these strange cocktails and then tells us how it turned out. Bell welcomes us into the fascinating world of high-falutin mixology with a friendly smile, an uncanny sense of style and a sense of humor.

Let’s discuss that style. Bell, dressed in custom suits, often flashing with vivid color, is a handsome gentleman as he guides us through the challenges. Bell is always dressed as if he’s going to be seen at a hot spot, giving each episode elegance, exuberance and visual splendor. Bell is more than just a handsome, suit-clad man. He also has a friendly demeanour that encourages judges and mixologists alike to have a conversation about life and cocktails. He shares his unique insights and has a lot of fun.

In the first challenge, for instance, one contestant made a cocktail called “The Fellowship” and gave it to her opponent. The Lord of the Rings. Bell raised the glass stein in which the delicious beverage was presented and declared, “I love that glass.” This whole presentation makes me feel like I’m at a happy hour in Narnia. “You know what I’m referring to?

The judges and guests chuckled in appreciation. I did the same, since I knew. Just what it says What he meant. Bell took us on a journey through a fantastic cocktail. From that moment, I knew I couldn’t stop at one (episode Master Mixologists).

Master Mixologists It is both collaborative and competitive in a fascinating way.

Lauren “LP” Paylor, Kate Gerwin in “Drink Masters.”

Personally, I love competition shows where contestants show compassion towards each other and acknowledge that they are part a larger community. (Think Face Off It’s possible, Or Forged in fire.) I’ve grown weary of the “I didn’t come here to make friends” drama. I yearn to see competitors whose strategy does not include sabotage but overcoming their inner saboteur.

Now, I can’t promise every mixologist in Master Mixologists is always operating out of a collective concern. It is a good thing that team challenges are inherently dramatized. Collaboration and compromise are essential. It was touching to see them help each other, check in with each other, and even cry for one another after every elimination challenge.

While I won’t spoil who makes it to the final three, I will say it was a heartwarming thrill to see the contestants — even in this last grasp for a fortune — help each other out. You’ll be back to reality when reality TV ends. Even if they don’t win, these mixologists can still emerge as the hero and villain from their speakeasy arena. While a certain bar owner soured for me over the course of the competition — making snippy comments about milk punches always winning only to turn around and make a milk punch in the following ep! — no one here gets a damning “villain edit.”So there’s tension, but it’s never overbearing.

Master Mixologists contenders get personal.

It is almost comical that competitors in cooking shows are from Chopped To GBBO To Kitchen NightmaresThey will justify the dishes by relating a story to make them more enjoyable. In Master MixologistsYou could make a drinking contest of taking shots every time someone mentioned their grandmothers as a source of inspiration. This would lead to a lot of binging! It’s part of the game to win the sympathy of judges. But Master MixologistsExplore beyond this dark territory to find radiant self-expression

Tao Zrafi is a Montreal-based mixologist who expresses his travels through his cocktails. LP, a Bronx native, took the judges along on a trip to her hometown. She paired a drink with plantain to remind her of her frequent stops at the corner bodega. Some people reflect their heritage by creating new twists on classic cocktails. Others throw everything at the glass to see if it sticks.

Over the course 10 episodes, Master MixologistsThis series gives viewers a crash course in cocktail culture. The first season is thirty minutes long and features a host who charms, enthralling quips, captivating contestants, and mouthwatering cocktails. This show is a great choice for those looking to relax with a new show.
