Another Chicago bloody weekendAuthorities say that the shootings left many people dead, including a 12-yearold girl who was hit in her neck in a drive-by shooting, and a 64-year old man who was shot during an attempted robbery of a supermarket.
Violence occurred between 6 p.m. Friday and 11:59 p.m. on Saturday. According to Chicago police data released Monday morning.
There were 26 shooting incidents reported and 28 shooting victims. This included at least five minors. Police said at least six people were murdered in the weekend gun violence.
Police say that a 64 year-old man died from a gunshot to the chest and back in an attempted robbery at a supermarket, which took place on Friday in 2600 East 73rd Street.

Police say that two 12-year-old girls and one 16-year-old boy were injured in separate drive-by shootings this weekend.

Police said that the 12-year-old girl was shot in the neck by a gunman in a dark-colored car. The shooting occurred in the 8900 block S. South Chicago. She was Critical condition hospitalization
A 16-year old boy was walking in the 7000 block S. King Drive when a gunman riding in a red SUV struck him in the leg. He was in good health and was taken to the hospital.
According to police, there were 28 shooting victims and 26 shooting incidents in Chicago this weekend.

A 15-year old boy was injured in his right leg in an alley in the 6900 block S. Indiana Avenue just before 6 p.m. on Sunday. Comer Children’s Hospital treated him in good condition.
Another 15-year-old boy was also shot in his right hand as well as his right buttocks. A 17-year-old was also shot in the groin when he was walking down the street.

No arrestswere made immediately in the shooting of the five juveniles.
Last weekend, police said there were 20 shooting incidents, 32 shooting victims and five murders.
