The first ever DoorDash credit card, the DoorDash Rewards Mastercard, has been announced by Chase. Customers will receive exclusive deals, discounts, perks, and the cardholders can earn rewards for eligible purchases made through the DoorDash app, website, or in-person.

Even though there are high delivery and service charges, food delivery remains a popular option in post-pandemic times. DoorDash Rewards Mastercard may be your key to saving money on food delivery and earning rewards.

DoorDash Rewards Mastercard will now be available World Elite MastercardCustomers will be able to receive valuable and useful rewards and perks. They also have access to 24/7 concierge and Mastercard Priceless Experiences. The exact card rewards rates, fees and benefits are yet to be revealed.

Chase and DoorDash formed their partnership in January 2020. Since then, they have offered consumers exciting new rewards and deals. This month was the last. Chase has expanded DashPass’s free membership perk to all its co-branded cards(Activation must be done by December 31, 2024). Plus, Chase Sapphire Reserve® cardholders get Every month, $5 DoorDash in app creditIt’ll be interesting for us to see how DoorDash Rewards Mastercard will improve and what this means for existing DoorDash deals, which are eligible cobranded Chase cards.

This year, it was earlier. Chase launches the first ever cobranded food delivery credit card. Instacart is its partner: the Instacart Mastercard®. This card earns: 

  • Get 5% Cashback at more than 800 Instacart Partner Groceries and Retail Shops
  • Get 2% Cash Back on Gas, Restaurants, and Select Streaming Services
  • All other purchases qualify for a 1% cash back

There is no annual fee, and you get useful perks such as $100 Instacart credit upon approval. Plus, you’ll receive a year of Instacart+ Membership for free.

Although both companies offer popular food delivery services DoorDash as well as Instacart, they don’t actually offer the same services. DoorDash delivers mostly food from restaurants, while Instacart is a specialist in local grocery delivery. grocery store deliveriesThis does not include restaurant orders. 

Instacart & DoorDash don’t have direct competition. People could benefit from both Chase cobranded cards. Actual value and benefits will depend on DoorDash Rewards Mastercard terms. 

Chase is launching co-branded cards alongside existing partners, however. Last week was the last. Chase and Marriott Bonvoy released the new Marriott Bonvoy Bountiful™ Card
People who are looking to quickly earn Marriott Points. With the DoorDash Rewards Mastercard in place, it will be interesting for Chase to release any additional co-branded Chase cards before the end.
