Donald Jr. Eric Trump Wanted Trump Media Stake. The Co-Founder Says WaPo

Former President Donald Trump’s two adult sons wanted stakes in their father’s media company even though they were barely involved, according to one of the co-founders of Trump Media & Technology Group.

Will Wilkerson made these allegations in an article published by The Washington PostSaturday. Wilkerson, who filed a lawsuit against the company for infighting and possibly illegal activity, was the source of the story. Whistleblower complaint to SECAugust

Wilkerson described Eric Jr. as “coming in and asking to be helped,” according to the Post. “They had no bearing in this company … and they were taking equity away from hard-working individuals.”

Insider reached out to Trump Organization for comment but they did not immediately reply.

In a Statement provided by Insider, Trump Media & Technology Group blasted the Post’s reporting and touted Truth Social’s successes, such as Launching on the Apple or Google app storesAttracting millions of users.

The statement stated that Washington Post had published a story “ignorant these achievements” and added, “The Washington Post published a report rife in knowingly false and defamatory remarks and other concocted psychologicaldramas.” The statement did not address specific allegations.

According to the outlet, Wilkerson was the senior vice president of operations and was fired on Thursday. Insider asked Wilkerson’s lawyers for comment but they did not respond immediately. New York and SEC prosecutors investigate Trump Media.

Wilkerson gave the Post materials that he had given to the SEC, which he claimed proved his claims about company. Wilkerson, along with two co-founders, kept a log detailing their daily experiences at work.

The Post reports that the log shows how the men weighed the best way to deal with the Trump family’s involvement in business. The outlet reported that one log noted that Donald Jr. had been told by someone that he needed “a bedtime story” and some love.
