A pit bull mix, a young female, was found in a trash can in Detroit-Michigan. Rescuers were able to see that the pit bull mix was abandoned and had suffered abuse.
Andy Seltz from the Michigan Humane Society states that the dog recently gave birth to new puppies, but does not know their number.
They searched the area and asked for help. Rescuers believed that the woman who dumped the mother dog had taken her babies, as they were being used for breeding.
