Dog leaps into the water after hearing his sibling’s screaming from the Drifting Canoe

Robbie, the Black Labrador, has very strong limbs. This is a result of intense training and squirrel-chasing. He’s a good swimmer and can follow commands very well. Robbie was the first to jump in rescue of his doggie siblings, who were stuck on a drifting canoe.

The video below shows Rusty, the Redbone, and Bullet, the brindle Mountain Cur crying out for help from their canoe. A strong gust of wind has caused the canoe to blow away. Dad is worried, so Robbie shouts rescue commands to Robbie. Robbie’s dog then spontaneously swims through the water to reach his siblings.

Robbie uses his powerful muscles and swims steadily to the canoe. He uses his wit and quickly grabs the rope that’s used to fasten the canoe. He holds the rope in his mouth and begins to swim painstakingly to the shore, pulling the heavy canoe weight.

Bullet and Rusty love to be back on dry soil, but Robbie feels exhausted. Dad checks on the dogs and then secures the canoe in a spot where it is safe.

As this video went viral, people got curious about Robbie’s amazing skills. Later, Dad revealed that their dogs had been trained for rescues like this for many years. Robbie, his oldest sibling, excels at rescue work and is protective of his siblings. Robbie is truly a hero dog!
