Dog Does A Double Take When She Sees Who’s Standing Behind Her

Lucy felt someone sneaking up behind her as she waited outside the venue before her parents’ wedding.

As she swirled around, the big dog nearly missed out on the white-dressed woman. Lucy recognized it immediately and jumped to her feet.
“It seemed as though she hesitated and thought, “Oh my goodness, is that my MOM?

Before she rushed to me out of excitement, according to Lucy’s mother Ashley Pfaff, who spoke to The Dodo.

The heartfelt “first peek” was caught on camera, and you can watch it here:

Chris Decker and Pfaff knew that Lucy was a part their wedding day from the moment they started arranging it.

We were aware that including Lucy in our wedding would add to the planning requirements, but after talking about it, Pfaff said, “we concluded that she has been with us this whole time and deserves to be there.” Since we didn’t have any children during our wedding, Lucy served as a type of flower girl. ”

Lucy was delighted to be part of the celebrations and took her role in flower pup very seriously. She went above and past to bring a special touch to the event.

Lucy stood straight up and walked between us at altar, just as we began to speak our vows. Pfaff believed this was even more special than that first glimpse. “It seemed as though she joined us all together for this because she knew it was the most significant moment of the entire day! ”

Decker and Pfaff are both doctors. It is difficult for them to imagine their lives without Lucy, who brings them so much joy and love. They found solace in knowing they could always return to Lucy, even though they were working in dangerous areas during the pandemic.

Lucy was a constant source of love and happiness, even when she couldn’t be with her other family members or friends, according to Pfaff. As healthcare professionals, “she is a significant part of how we both got through some of those most difficult times.”

Lucy’s participation in their wedding required a little extra administrative work, but Pfaff wouldn’t have had it any other way.

I wouldn’t trade the opportunity for anything to have her share in this amazing day and moment while wearing my outfit, Pfaff added. “She is a dog of a lifetime.”
