Dog dances in the rain after staying in shelter for 175 days

Rambo was taken from the shelter by Forgotten Dogs Rescue staff who placed him with a foster parent. They were unaware of how much Rambo would love freedom.

He continued to go, even though it was pouring outside.

Rambo left the shelter at the end of 175 days. He was so excited that he began to run and dance in the rain.

“I cried happy tears when his foster mom sent me the video,” said Julie Saraceno, a shelter volunteer. “That was his second day in his foster home, and the absolute joy in his eyes and the feeling of freedom was wonderful to watch.”

Rambo was shocked to see a huge grassy yard, after being left in a tiny concrete kennel.

You can see the example here.

The young dog is full of excitement with his big, beautiful eyes. Although he is full of energy, he enjoys playing with cats as well as other dogs. He also loves to cuddle up on the couch.

“He is the sweetest guy to the people he considers his crew,” Saranceno said.

Rambo is making progress every day towards self-confidence, and overcoming his fear. Rambo was found as a stray in Kennewick, Washington. While working with a trainer, he has also learned many other skills that have made him a great boy. He can be trained to obey and interact with strangers.

Rambo will be available to meet potential matches once his training is completed.

Pretty soon, Rambo won’t have to jump at every opportunity to get outside. Soon, he’ll be in his own yard with his family.
