What would we do if our dogs were gone? Dogs are able to sense when something is wrong and will do whatever they can to help us feel better. Here’s an example:
Tumbler user drovie posted a while back that she had been feeling sad and depressed and that Zeus, her therapy animal, made a wonderful surprise.
“Today at therapy was really hard. I was sitting here, crying and generally feeling miserable, when I felt something tug at my knee. I looked down to see that Zeus, my service dog, was doing his job… and brought me a potato.”
Approximately one year later, and…
“Remember this? I’m having a rough time right now. Zeus has a solution.”
“That would be an empty pill bottle, the *correct* pill bottle, a bottle of embossing powder, and two, TWO potatoes.”
You will love it! But the best part? It works.
“It is very hard to cry with a gift of [a] potato,” she said. 🙂
