When Thor: Love and ThunderThe movie premiered in theaters to mixed reviews. Many viewers expressed concern about the movie’s excessive use of Korg and “juvenile” humor.
Even critics gave it a less positive rating than the average MCU film with a 68% Rotten Tomatoes score. The movie was a huge success and earned more than its predecessor. Thor: RagnarokIt did so in its first weekend. It is streaming on Disney Plus and doing very well.

Love and ThunderIt has performed extremely well since its launch on Disney Plus on September 8, just in time for Disney Plus Day. The Nielsen chart shows that 1.5 billion minutes were viewed from September 5 through September 11 according to Nielsen.

This placed it second, just behind Cobra KaiNetflix, which isn’t bad considering it was only accessible for three days during the week of September 8-11.
The film’s negative reviews didn’t seem like it stopped anyone from watching it once it was available on Disney Plus. The case of Thor: Love and ThunderIt seems that people are willing to ignore all the negativity and hate out there and just enjoy the film as it is.
