A woman who loves animals and sees a puppy wandering about, calls her rescuer. She calls the pup. The puppy then walks towards her and turns his back. At that moment she decides to call the dog Bodoque. Once she looks at Bodoque’s face, it is obvious that he needs medical attention. His tiny face is covered with a crusty, mange-like skin and his eyes are closed.

Did this poor puppy go blind at birth? Is his blindness a result of living on the streets? Bodoque is eternally grateful that he was rescued. He was too dependent on others for his survival. He’s exhausted! His rescuer grabs him and he falls asleep in their arms. It is so touching to see him at peace. Look at the photo below.

Bodoque is then taken by the woman to the clinic. The veterinarian examines Bodoque and concludes that he was born with an inherited eye defect. It was possible he was dumped on the streets for being “defective” by a human who didn’t want him because he wasn’t perfect. This is so terrible!
