• They found many bizarre sea creatures including the tribute spiderfish and bony-eared assfish.
• A blind eel gives birth to young and has never been seen before.

Scientists explore the Floor of the deep ocean around the Cocos (Keeling) Islands in the Indian Ocean found a landscape teeming with deep sea life, some of which had never been seen before.
