Cristiano Ronaldo will return to Manchester United’s squad on Thursday night when Erik ten Hag’s men face Cypriot side Sheriff Tiraspol.
Ten Hag has reintegrated Ronaldo into his first-team squad after making the Portuguese forward train alone ahead of United’s draw with ChelseaFollowing his refusal to take on against, Tottenham Hotspur.
Ronaldo said the “heat of the moment” got to him when he decided to walk down the touchline and out of Old Trafford before the final whistle of United’s 2-0 win over Spurs.
So has the 37-year-old been punished enough for his act of petulance or should he be left out of Ten Hag’s starting line-up for this week’s Europa League match?
