This is a huge loss for a wide receiver group that was heavily dependent upon Pittman in the beginning of the year. The Colts declined to make a substantial off-season addition, save second-round pick Alex Pierce, but Pierce is out Sunday after developing concussion-like symptoms following last week’s tie in Houston.

Jonathan Taylor, Michael Pittman Jr. and Jonathan Taylor were the dominant figures, but Colts need other players to make plays
Pittman had 121 yard and a touchdown last week on nine catches; he was mostly unguardable. Who is ready to step in? The Colts need to have something. Parris Campbell, Michael Strachan or Ashton Dulin. There’s also running back Nyheim HinesLast week, with 50 receiving yards, he finished second on the team.
If so, the Jacksonville defense is going to be crucial. Jonathan Taylor, who’ll get a heavy load of carries with the Colts’ other top weapon sidelined.
