Colts WR Michael Pittman Jr. was downgraded to out in advance of Week 2 game against the Jaguars

ColtsLarge receiver Michael Pittman Jr. will not play in Indianapolis’ Week 2 game against the Jacksonville JaguarsThe team announced this Saturday. Pittman was listed as questionable on Friday’s practice report due to a quad injury but was then downgraded to out.

This is a huge loss for a wide receiver group that was heavily dependent upon Pittman in the beginning of the year. The Colts declined to make a substantial off-season addition, save second-round pick Alex Pierce, but Pierce is out Sunday after developing concussion-like symptoms following last week’s tie in Houston.
