Denver policeFriday night’s arrest was made in connection to the death of a 14 year-old boy found in August in the Marston neighborhood.
At a Saturday night press conference, authorities revealed that the suspect in custody was a 17-year old Colorado boy.
The identity of the suspect will not be disclosed because he is a minor. According to KDVR.
Denver Police Department officers say that the victim, Josiaz Aragon (14 years old), attended school with the suspect last summer. According to reports, they had discussed the possibility of selling a firearm over the summer.

Police say Josiaz Aragon, also known as JoJo, was shot and killed while trying to buy a gun for another teenager.

They were involved in that transaction on August 8th when the suspect allegedly walked into the room. Victims of robbery, assaults and murder Aragon.
The decision to charge the teen with a crime as an adult or minor is still being made. The police have stated that they are investigating the possibility of other criminals, but there has been no evidence.

An autopsy conducted by the Denver Medical Examiner’s office revealed that Aragon died from “multiple sharp and blunt force injuries “With a gunshot wound.”KDVR reported.
