Clemson’s Barrett Carter to miss game against Syracuse

ClemsonThe starting nickel/am linebacker will not be used Barrett Carter for Saturday’s matchup against SyracuseSaturday morning, the school declared:

Carter, a sophomore, has started each of the Tigers’ seven games, playing 450 snaps with 33 tackles. The Tigers have other options. Junior cornerback Malcolm GreeneTrue freshman linebacker Wade Woodaz are listed on the depth chart as Carter’s co-backups.

The Tigers could also slide junior Trenton SimpsonThe will linebacker will be returned to nickel/sam where he played in 2021. Ask his backup LaVonta Bentley to take over at will. Keith MaguireThis adds depth. Also, the Tigers will not have a backup kicker Robert Gunn IIIThe school also made an announcement.
