Christian Bale recalls how he had to force his son to sit through ‘Thor: Ragnarok’

Christian Bale reveals his youngest child couldn’t stay in his seat at the screening of the MCU film.

Recent interview with GQThe star spoke out about a time when his youngest child was struggling to stay awake during a screening the 2017 Marvel Cinematic Universe film.

When asked why he chose the mega-production, he replied: Thor: Love and Thunder, the actor told the magazine, “I was like, “This looks like an intriguing character; I might be able to do something with this, who knows?”

The 48-year old English actor admitted that he enjoyed 2017’s mega-hit. Thor: Ragnarok. “I took my son to see Ragnarok,” he said. “He was climbing like a monkey all across [the seats],” the actor added.

Remembering what his seven-year-old son said during the screening of the MCU film, the actor continued, “and then he was like, “Oh, I’ve had enough now, let’s get on”. I was like, “No, no, no. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.”

“I was just like, “I want to finish it,” the actor concluded.

Christian Bale revealed that he enjoyed 2017’s film. Thor: RagnarokHe was inspired to sign up for the 2022 sequel. Thor: Love and Thunder.
