Chris Eubank Jr. continues his pursuit of Conor Benn in preparation for their October 8 catchweight clash.
Benn has gained 10 lbs in the last month boutThis will take place at 157lbs.
Eubank Jr. is dropping 3lbs to his lowest weight in his career. However, he has not expressed any concern at all during the build-up.
Instead, Chris Eubank Sr. expressed his concerns.
British boxing legend, John McGregor, claimed that he was going to withdraw his son from the fight due to the risk of him cutting to 157lbs.
Eubank Sr. told the Mail: “My son’s life cannot be put in danger. I’ve already lost one. It can’t happen again.”
Eubank Jr’s brother, Sebastian, tragically died aged 29 Last year.
Despite his father’s remarks though, Eubank Jr is Press onHe is a fighter and makes light of his weight.
Eubank Jr. told Benn at the press conference to promote the event that the catchweight clause and the rehydration clause would have an impact on his performance.
He claimed he would only be at ’60 per cent’ on October 8, but insisted this is enough to win.
Eubank Jr. has now made it a point to allow himself to be photographed eating from a KFC bucket, and other delicious desserts in an effort to further defame Benn.
Now, at 33, he has released his latest video.
Eubank Jr showed himself celebrating at a dinner, where he was given a cake with ‘60%’ written in chocolate sauce on the plate.
He then recorded himself eating another chocolatey treat.
It will be an interesting time to watch the weigh-in on Oct 7.
