Chloe was completely calm when she arrived at the shelter. She would lay in a corner, shaking. She didn’t want to eat or interact with anyone. It was heartbreaking. The shelter volunteers did their best to reach her, but Chloe didn’t trust them. She was too afraid to accept anyone.

They wanted her to be out of this environment as soon as possible, so they looked for fosters. They referred Davrish to them, and he was the right fit. Transferring Chloe from her shelter was a difficult task. Even though she hated the shelter, she didn’t want to leave. Davrish was brought to her rescue, but she kept turning her back to her old home.

Finally, Chloe and Davrish got in the car together with a rescue worker. The amazing thing about what happens behind the volunteer’s back is incredible. This was a sign the pup was already making great progress. The things started to improve slowly after Chloe arrived at her foster family. This was a long process that you will witness firsthand.

It’s stories like this one that really tugs at those heartstrings. We are so happy that Chloe’s past is behind her… for good!
