China’s Robot Dog with Mounted Machine Gun is Full of ‘Black Mirror’

  • China’s private military defense contractor is now “Black Mirror” in its latest offering.

China is showing off a terrifying new offering from one of its private military contractors — a robot dog mounted with a machine gun that can be transported via drone. 

Kestrel Defense Blood-Wing, a verified social media account for a private Chinese military contractor, made a PostChina’s Twitter-like Weibo platform published the video on October 3. The video shows a large drone posing as a dog with a gun attached to it. 

The video shows the dog getting up and moving about the rooftop. 

“War dogs descend from heaven!” Kestrel wrote a Weibo article. “Heavy-duty drones can carry combat dogs. These can be placed behind enemy lines and used to surprise attack weak links. They can also be placed on rooftops, and they work together with troops on the ground to ambush opponents inside buildings.
