A man is accused of entering into a Chicago Police StationPolice were called to his home to arrest him for pointing a gun at officers.
According to a police release, Terrick Bland, 43, was charged with five counts for aggravated beating of a peace officers and one count for aggravated assault using a deadly weapon.
Police say that Bland entered the lobby of Ogden District Station in Lawndale on the city’s West Side on Wednesday and started shouting anti-Semitic slogans.Statements from the police. Officers ordered him to drop the gun he had wrapped in plastic bags. He pointed the gun at officers, and at least three opened fire.

Bland was shot once in his shoulder. Bland was treated at a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A man in Illinois, who entered a station to point a gun at police officers, is now facing assault charges.
It was the second incident in just over a week that Chicago police officers had shot an armed suspect at a station.
Donald Patrick, 47 years old, was shot and seriously injured by police in Waukegan. Patrick allegedly entered a building from another West Side station, climbed up to grab handguns and pointed them at SWAT trained officers. Patrick was taken into custody and charged with burglary, aggravated assault of a firearm officer and battery. He is still in prison.
