Cornerback J.C. Jacksonis actively involved and will make his ChargersLos Angeles’s opening night of the Olympics will be Thursday night Kansas City Chiefs. Jackson, who underwent ankle surgery in August was subject to a pregame workout lasting approximately 15 minutes. Coach Renaldo Hill was present to observe the session.

The Chargers signed the former PatriotsCornerback signed a 5-year, $82.5 Million deal in March. The 26-year old has been named one of the most important players in the NFL’s most productive cornerbacks, earning a Pro Bowl and second-team All-Pro nod in 2021 after tallying eight interceptions and a league-high 23 pass deflections. He started his career in 2018 as an undrafted rookie with the Patriots.
The Chargers face off against the Chiefs at 8 :15 p.m. ET on Thursday night.
