Champions League ‘cruel’ to Barcelona, says Xavi as La Liga side face early elimination despite fightback

Barcelona boss Xavi said the Champions League had been “very cruel” to his side as he was left facing the prospect of a second successive group-stage elimination, despite a thrilling fightback against Inter Milan.

Robert Lewandowski scored two late goals — including a stoppage-time header — to earn a 3-3 draw at the Camp Nou.

Barcelona remains in third place in Group B, three points behind InterWith two matches remaining, it is now a draw.
