California’s 13th Congressional district candidates

Gray is a member representing District 21 in the California State Assembly. He has held this position for the past nine year. Gray was a former legislative aide at the California State Legislature, and then a lecturer at University of California, Merced, before he was elected to the state legislature. Gray also founded the bipartisan California Problem Solvers Caucuslast February, with seven of his coworkers.

Gray lost to Modesto Republican by a narrow margin in a five way nonpartisan primary. Gray won 31.1%. Gray got 34.2%. Both were the top two primary candidates and advanced to the general elections under California’s election laws.
