General Motors officially revealed the Cadillac Celestiq on Monday after months of anticipation. This ultra-luxury, zero-emission sedan is meant to compete with Bentley and Rolls-Royce. It is part of GM’s ambitious plan for electric vehicles to be sold by 2035.

The Celestiq will be priced at approximately $300,000, including delivery and option fees. Buyers can add to this figure with the assistance of a personal concierge, who will guide them through every step of the process. Each Celestiq is hand-built according to customer specifications. The brand will also limit annual production to an “extremely low volume.” Production begins in December 2023.

Celestiqs will be equipped with all-wheel drive thanks to two motors producing 600 horsepower and 640 pound feet of torque. Cadillac estimates that the car can reach 60 MPH in 3.8 seconds. To help customers navigate tight spaces like parking lots, Cadillac has included rear-wheel steering.
