BTS’ Jungkook creates history as ‘Dreamers’ becomes first-ever FIFA song to debut at No. #1 on Billboard charts

BTS’ Jungkook unveiled the official soundtrack “Dreamers” on stage for the first time at the ‘2022 FIFA World Cup Opening Ceremony in Qatar’ on November 20th at the Alkhor Al Bite Stadium in Qatar, generating buzz all around the world.

The highlight of the opening ceremony was without doubt the stage performance by Jungkook (BTS), which took place during World Cup fever peak.

The song debuted at the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart in the United States on November 28th. 1 position on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart in the United States. This achievement made it the first FIFA Cup song ever to reach the top of Billboard’s Digital Song Sales charts.

According to reports, Jungkook’s “Dreamers”, reached the top spot on iTunes Top Songs in 102-103 and 104 countries within two days, respectively, after it was launched on the global music platform iTunes. “Dreamers” was the number one song on the worldwide iTunes song chart until today. The song has also remained at the top of European (European) iTunes Song Chart for six consecutive days.

Two days after the November 22 opening ceremony, the official music video for the song was made.

The song was a travelogue in which the singer explored and danced through Qatar, the host of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. This dreamy track can be found on the official soundtrack to the global football classic. The video features the BTS member singing with Fahad Al-Kubaisi, a Qatari artist.

Meanwhile, the music video has already been viewed 38,000,000 times on YouTube.
