After days of speculation about JinxColdplay’s involvement, the artist has now confirmed that he will be collaborating with Coldplay.

The AstronautIt will be released on October 28, 2022.
The South Korean boy band BTS’ management company, BIGHIT MUSIC on October 20, 2022, at midnight (Korea Standard Time) confirmed that the artist’s upcoming solo single The AstronautJin and Coldplay co-wrote the song.
As soon as he finishes his promotional activities, the South Korean singer-songwriter at 29 years old will enlist in compulsory military service. The Astronaut.

It is not the first collaboration between the legendary British band and the 29-year old K-Pop artist. Coldplay collaborated previously with BTS on their hit 2021. My Universe.
Jin aka Kim Seok -jin will become the first member to enlist in military service. The other band mates, RM, Suga and J-hope will follow suit according to their schedules so that the band may reunite by 2025.

Jin first teased the collaboration without revealing the name during the band’s Still to ComeBusan concert, he said that he admires his co-worker.
