Bryson de Chambeau is caught in gallery rope during LIV Golf event

Bryson DeChambeau was unfortunate at theLIV Golf Invitational ChicagoSunday

He was trying to find his way to the ball as he tried to get there. DeChambeau erroneously judged theHe walked into the gallery rope. The rope was being held up by a volunteer and didn’t give DeChambeau enough space for him to get underneath it and the rope got caught on his head.

DeChambeau sank to one knee in an effort to restore order.

On the live stream, one of the announcers could be heard saying “Off with his heads.”

The Chicago tournament took place at Rich Harvest Farms, Sugar Hill, Ill.

DeChambeau was 10th overall, scoring 6-under par during the 54-hole tournament. He finished seven strokes ahead of Cameron Smith, British Open champion.

Smith shot 13 under par. He didn’t shoot above a 69 in the three rounds. He was awarded $4 million in the $20 million individual play purse.

Smith stated, “I felt I had to prove to myself as well as other people that I am still a great golfer, and I’m still out there to win a tournament.” “I wasn’t at my best, but I persevered and made some putts.”

Dustin Johnson and Peter Uihlen were three strokes ahead of Dustin Johnson.
