Boy With Flu Does Not Allow His Dog To Comfort Him

It is heartwarming for children and dogs to share this special bond. This is a story that illustrates the special bond between children and dogs.

A young couple adopted Riddick, a pit bull named after them. They also have Cambria, their furry companion. Rescue Dogs Rock NYC rescued Riddick last year before he joined the family. After a year, a baby boy was born, and the two dogs’ reaction when meeting Dawson was amazing.

“We would call them the paw patrol. If the baby cried, the two of them would come running inside to check on him.” Dad says. They also enjoy joining their parents when they read bedtime stories to Dawson. Cambria or Riddick could also lay down beside the baby and listen.

As he grew, the boy shared his love with his furry friends. Dawson was a good friend to his four-legged friends, and Dawson became ill.

When the boy got sick, his parents tried their best to comfort him but it seems they can’t do anything. Dawson allowed Riddick to be there for him, but that was the only occasion when he let someone else sit with him.

“He crawled up onto the ottoman with Riddick and was just holding him,” Dad said. “You could tell Riddick knew he wasn’t feeling well and laid with him. He [Dawson]I tossed and turned for a while, and then about 30 minutes later I was shivering cold for more than an hour. Riddick never moved.”

The little boy was able get better quickly and was able play again with his best buddies. Dawson is very fortunate to have loyal, loving best friends.
